In honor of Teach a Friend to Brew Day (or whatever it was called), I did a brewday with three friends today.  Missed the OG by quite a bit...  not sure what we did, but no worries...

  1. Blew the lid off of the fermenter after a day. Went to replace the gooped up airlock with a fresh, sanitized one and somehow managed to knock the rubber grommet into the brew. Oops. Did some reading, and some people fish them out with their hands, while most just let it ride. I gave an attempt with a sanitized spoon, but quickly gave up. Letting it ride. Bought a new grommet and put the new airlock in place. Will be bottling this weekend.

  2. Bottled this weekend. Hit close enough to the FG (1.014ish). Taste and aroma are outstanding...
